Keto, bulletproof, or butter coffee isn’t exactly new, but it has gained immense popularity in recent years with those who follow ketogenic diets. And like the fad diet itself, butter coffee may have its downsides – high fat, high calorie, high cholesterol – it’s also one of the easiest ways for patients to medicate.
For those of us who don’t want lingering smoke on our clothes or who may not want a sugary treat first thing in the morning, infused keto coffee is just the ticket.
Rich, filling, and it takes less than 5 minutes to go from pot to cup.
Our favorite coffee to use is the Arcadia Valley Roasting Company’s Valley Daybreak
Infused keto coffee recipe
Prep time: 5 minutes
Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of brewed Arcadia Valley Roasting Company’s Valley Daybreak
- 1 tsp. to 2 tbsp. Coconut oil
- 1-2 tbsp. Unsalted butter
This recipe can use cannabis-infused coconut oil or cannabis-infused butter, it is highly recommended that you do not use both.
Instructions:
- Brew coffee
- Pour 1 cup (8-12 ounces) into a blender
- Add coffee, coconut oil, and unsalted butter
- Blend 20-30 seconds, the blend should look creamy, and smooth like a rich latte.
