The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Medical Marijuana Regulation Program announced an end to the administrative hold in Metrc for a bulk of the products involved in an email late Tuesday afternoon.
The email explains that manufactured marijuana products and product already in the manufacturing process will be removed from administrative hold within 24 hours, with one exception.
Flower and flower products, including pre-rolls, that were placed on hold previously will remain on hold in Metrc as the investigation continues.
The text from the email follows:
“The Department has determined a portion of the product currently on administrative hold in Metrc can now be released. Specifically, any product currently in the manufacturing process or in a manufactured product, other than pre-rolls, will be released. All other affected product will remain on administrative hold. Please allow approximately 24 hours for the Department to implement the release of product. If, after 24 hours, you believe there is product in your inventory that remains on hold that should be released under the parameters described here, please reach out to us to discuss. Remember that all product on hold must remain where it is and not be processed, transferred, or sold. Thank you for your patience as we continue to gather information to determine whether the remaining product on hold may be released.”
