CODES, one of Missouri’s hottest new cannabis brands, today unveiled a limited-edition 816 strain in honor of 816 Day, Kansas City’s annual celebration of local culture that’s named after the city’s area code. 816 Day is all about celebrating local culture and connecting with the community, which inspired the team at CODES Cannabis to dedicate a strain that truly captures the city’s energy and vibrancy.

The 816 holiday was coined by Mayor Sly James on August 16, 2018 to celebrate Kansas City businesses, artists, and culture.
